Bad stuff man.
I was a nerd, bookworm, didn't drink only tried pot a couple times.
I was 17, young and should have gone to the military.
Instead I jumped into the party scene, tried to party all the time. Spent five plus years in school. No degree.
I had no plans, just took electives and history classes.
It was fun, but I made too many mistakes.

how poorly prepared I was for, specifically math, compared to kids from big cities. I went to a very rural school, graduated with 70 people.
I did fine with everything except math. College Algebra kicked my arse but I noticed other kids seemed to be better prepared.

Smart people can be really stupid.
ETA: and vice versa, but you have to be really paying attention to spot the second group.

Humanities, art history, foundations of western civilization, English literature, political science, foreign language, botany, advanced calculus, statistics, lacrosse, more world history, more beer and how to roll a spliff. The usual stuff for a 1960s/1970s undergrad. All major state and private universities taught pretty much the same “liberal” (not in the political sense) curricula. Now? Whacked out gender bathroom nonsense and rap music.

I was seeing calculus for the first time when most of the other people in the class had taken it in high school.

Absolutely, those priests are on their way to hell. They have a lot of knowledge about the Bible but they have not given their heart to Jesus. When you give your heart to Jesus you become Christ like. Those priests are the opposite of Christ like.
Good point. Thanks.

Same here. I had to learn how to study. High School was really easy for me so I thought I was just smart. Not the case.

That most of my “friends” from back home weren’t my real friends. Met my best friends in college, and, funny enough, we all hated each other in high school because of sports
