I remember when their student housing description on their website was literally copy/pasted from LSUE’s website, but they forgot to delete the “LSUE” portion of it
The library in my hometown has a “French Coffee Talk” once a week I think. About 30-50 older people go and speak Cajun French. They have certain topics, bring in a guest speaker, etc. over coffee and donuts. Pretty cool.
Stumbled across this short video on some roofers from Lafayette. Yikes.

It’s not traditional Medicare. It’s an advantage plan. And they are garbage. Lure you in with perks and discounts but are hot garbage when you need to find a provider or get something covered.

Please talk your loved ones into a traditional plan with Part B coverage for comprehensive healthcare coverage.
Lived there first year of college. Moved out the second our lease was up after a year. Manager was sketchy AF. We called him “Crooked arse Bryan”

We had a good league, but it ran its course after 10 years. Casual and $50 buy in. Was sad to see it go

This is where we are rn. College buddies who used to get together and cook and draft in person. Now we see each other once a year, if that, and draft virtually from wherever we are. Guys dropping out yearly. Almost canned it last year but convinced each other to run it back. Nobody has said a word about it this year so I doubt we’ll have it.

Just part of growing up I guess.

Apparently it had gotten increasingly…urban

Saw a video of a shooting in the parking lot there about a week ago after a zydeco. Must’ve been the last straw.
The bus driver in the Robear commercial saying “yall get yall lil asses off da bus.” always cracks me up. I say it to my kids every time I park somewhere.
My wife’s great aunt died a couple months ago at 106. She was born in 1918 and still lived by herself in the house her dad built her in 1940. She was sharp as a tack up until the day she died, and had some incredible stories. Still had her WWII war bond books in an old drawer. Antique furniture and portraits from her grandparents. Her house was a time machine.

She’s definitely the earliest that I was old enough to have a meaningful conversation with.

Reminds me of our house in college. We broke the kitchen table, so we moved the ping pong table in the kitchen. 4 dudes eating dinner off a ping pong table every night
Funny video of Nuss calling to tell his wide receivers goodnight  Treydez Green’s laugh is unreal

That bat is so hot our pitchers last night were scared to throw strikes, leading to 11 walks.
