What did college open your eyes to?

For me, I was a devout Catholic my whole life. Stayed in line. Never questioned my religion. Got to college and the train fell off the track. 13 years later I don’t attend church and many Catholics would shun me for what I believe/don’t believe.

Exactly how lazy and ignorant some people are, given that I had people in some of my classes who had gotten 0.0s the previous semester and played the race card to get out of a school mandated one semester suspension as a result.
That’s not even going into the last bitch in the final course of the degree program who was so illiterate that she turned “Starbucks founded in X year by Y” to “Y finds Starbucks in X year.”
