Pamplona Spain.
The spelling has changed over the years.
The story is that it was misspelled when my ancestors immigrated here .
They couldn’t read to correct it!

Ireland. Soecifically in County Galway. Part of the Ui Maine Clan which traces back to 357 AD..

I am kind of glad it got shortened at some point because it went from 16 to 6 letters.
