The city where I live. Main road leads to interstate and it's a nice 2 lane divided highway, but the speed limit is 55 the whole way.

If you aren't from around here, you will think it's 65, and the state police make a fortune writing tickets. I see 2-3 cars every day pulled over. Easy money for the police retirement fund.

Yep and the little towns around Napoleonville


I have gotten 5 speeding tickets in my life.

One in Golden Meadow and one in Napoleonville. Of the 5, these are the two I can honestly say I was not speeding.

The other 3 I got caught going 11 miles over the speed limit.

PS- Golden Meadow got me for riding in the left lane...right after the right lane was added.

There was a place called Kendleton on 59 southwest of Houston that had a bad rep.

Port Isabel before you go over the causeway to South Padre Island is bad, as it's 30 mph on the approach. Hard for drunks.
