Now that alcohol sales will be allowed at venues, who do you think will pony up to be the Official Beer of LSU?

Point of reference: Corona pays $5m to U Texas

I’m going to say Abita Tiger Stadium Ale is incoming

I’d bet the house on either Abita or Budweiser

PBR, it has the dual purpose of an alcoholic beverage and fuel for a piss balloon

Michelob, if they’re trying to grab the demographic that fights at tailgates and goes to the shitty non-conference games

Prob be a ton of BMC with abita amber as the premium option. Gonna go out on a limb and say a can of amber will be $8.50

It’ll be a lot more than that.... budlight was 9 bucks a can at superfest and utlra was 10. I think they were the 16oz cans. Il

Hopefully it’s something that is fitting of south Louisiana, something that is refined, sophisticated, and tastes good.

I’m thinking Miller Lite or Natty Ice.

Regardless of who wins the bidding war, the beer will be served warm and will cost $8.50.

If I was over Tin Roof, yesterday I would of made the call Immediately to LSU to talk about some kind of deal that puts My products, especially the LSU beer, in those concession stands. Lowest I would have ever charged a vendor as long as we have exclusive beer rights on campus.

Edit: Then, I get to work on a few more LSU beers to premier there.. a Porter, a stout, IPA, whatever they think would sell.
