It's all relative to me. Is eating out or spending $100 at the bar a waste of money? Only if you don't enjoy those things.

Probably groceries, the wife is always grabbing shite that we will never use in any meal and every 6 six months or so the pantry is full of crap we would have never eaten.

Karate. For the past few years, we've been spending easily $25,000 - $30,000/year. On the plus side, we've had a lot of great vacations we wouldn't have had otherwise. But we've also traveled to a lot of places not worth going to. And $75/hr. adds up quickly when we fly in his personal trainer. Lots of wasted money, but what's life if you're not living it?

Groceries--we shop on Sunday and will eat out every dinner the entire week
My wife--she buys things she sees on the tv infomercials to see if they really work and she wastes more than you can imagine--example, we buy a new puppy. She leaves her $150 sunglasses outside and puppy chews them. She needs new sunglasses.
My boat--pay $245 a month to keep it in a slip, use it five times a year maybe
Insurance--
House cleaner--my wife cleans the house the night before the house cleaners come and I'm like, WTF
DAYCARE--my kids are there 8:30 am to 3 pm and it costs $1,660 a month. No more--wrote last check Monday. That's a huge raise as one starts kindergarten next year and her sister will be in Mother's Day out for $159 a month.

My list could continue to grow--
Maybe a waste but I work hard for my money--eating out, drinking, traveling, and entertaining are things I enjoy and don't consider them a waste.
