There are some extremely gorgeous smaller towns in this country.
That’s a tough list

Seattle is beautiful except for the autonomous zones, blighted downtown, Antifa rats nests, and buffoonish government.

Washington DC- I was really shocked on how cosmopolitan and well planned this city. It was like if the best parts of Europe and Long Island had a baby.
Living there is kind of a disaster. Their Metro only has 1 lane on each side for most of the lines, so when one train goes down they start single laning the tracks with trains going both ways. Add in all the people who only care about politics and that city is blah.
It is a very pretty city though for sure

Bawcomville is the absolute winner.
Who doesn't love the fresh smell of paper mill farts in the morning?
Bonus: I just did a random street view in Bawcomville, and this is what popped up.

People hate on DC, but for a city that isn't a concrete jungle with skyscrapers, and a ton of history, it's the tits
This. 100%. It's a model of how planned cities should look.

I’m a homer, but Boston should be on the short list.

I'll throw out two:
Pittsburgh. The way the entire skyline is concentrated on a peninsula, and you literally have to enter the city through a tunnel if you are coming from the West side, especially at night. There is nothing else like it
Savannah. Every block has a small park. And the Revolutionary era architecture is still very much alive.

Win…
Vail, Colorado
Place…
Breckinridge, Colorado
Show…
Stowe, Vermont
Honorable mention…
Chattanooga, Tennessee
I’ve always thought it had great potential.

The smell and backdrop of the mill pushes it to the top.

Texas in general has bland houses. Brick facade, star somewhere, little foliage. Rinse, repeat.

And to the Dallas downvoters, go ahead and defend this crap!
That's a Ju-Nel home, there are about 50 of them in Dallas and a lot of them are pretty nice mid-centuries. This one obviously has had the brick painted which does it no favors but it sold for $600k and the interior is pretty nice MLS Listing. The pic you posted was probably immediately after the reno and the landscape isn't very mature. Here is a more recent pic and it looks better. They still need something, a rectangular thingy or maybe an ornamental tree, in front of the most forward facade. You can tell originally, the brick relief would have been more contrasting with the original brick color.
. If you look at the other homes on the block they are all decent enough 1950-60s ranches.
I'm not saying Dallas is a beautiful city, but there are many, many nice houses here.
