Popular only because their employees cooperate. There's zero incentive to tell the truth.

I am only assuming, but it seems like there would be a high turnaround rate at companies who would do this. It just sounds like its a scam. "You will make x amount of money! But after taxes, you will not see another x% because we will take it, otherwise you would not have any tools to do your job".

Other than the insurance being voided if there is a major charge and you're stuck with the bill.

Depending on the way the insurance operates, it may be cheaper for couples to keep their insurance separate in the first place. For instance, let's say my cost for individual insurance with my employer is $45 bi-weekly. To add my spouse, I have to choose the family plan, which is $130 bi weekly. If my spouse was working else where and her individual care was anything less than $85 bi weekly, we wouldn't have any reason to add her to my plan.

There are a shite ton of people who do not understand how their benefits work and these type of policies could actually help them.

I just don't see how it's enforceable. Are HR departments going to call your spouse's employers and demand the details of their compensation package? How would that work exactly?

I doubt they care until it matters.

For a while my wife was on a plan for herself and a plan with me. She had a complicated pregnancy and even though we worked for the same company and the same insurance, it was a disaster getting things paid.

Damn.. So the company you work for makes you pay for the equipment you need, to do your job?
not uncommon. One of my old factory jobs made us pay for our work boots(steel toe) and the uniform rental fee(optional).

For all the crap Wells fargo gets they basically give me 60 bucks a month. Every time you use your debit card they give you a dollar. i use mine alot and i get about 60 bucks a month deposited into my account. thats like an extra 700 a year. cant complain about that.

I'm almost 100% positive you've got it wrong. They transfer $1 of your own money into your connected savings account, but they're not giving you $1 for each debit ard use.

So this person thinks Wells Fargo is giving everyone $1 every time they use their debit card? So if I use Wells Fargo I could go make several purchases a day, for items less than $1 and each purchase I make for less than $1, Wells Fargo will give me $1? Sign me the frick up.

That's a good one. I bet florist in small towns make a killing. If they are the only show in town, there are funerals all the time and that's on top of valentine's day, weddings, etc..
