Look around. Most of them are storing it around their midsection.

Support a local farmer and go buy a cow. Or 1/2 or 1/4. All the ground beef you could want, vac sealed, for less than store bought ground beef.

People being selfish should come as no surprise. My dad is a butcher for a chain store and he says people just don't understand that product isn't available. Customers think the department is lying when they tell them they don't have anything.

Me personally, I've taken this as an opportunity to eat more fruits and vegetables. Bean-based dishes, huge salads, no -meat pastas, sheet pan roasted vegetable dinners, etc. Just made the most bomb vegetarian crock pot chili the other day. You wouldn't notice the difference.

Are you fat fricks just buying up the meat sections and freezing it "just in case"

To clarify, is eating protein something that a "fat frick" does?

The NATCO truck was set up near us and I purchased a 6 pound filet tenderloin. Cooked it up and shared with my neighbors.

Also got a five pound thing of ground meat. Made burgers, tacos, and hamburger helper for the kids.

Talked to the butcher at Albertson's here in B.R. and he said "the northern stores are keeping all the beef up there". As soon as he stocks the shelves half way, all the meat is gone.

Cooking it, and freezing it.

You have a LOT more people cooking at home right now than normal.

My grocery store is fully stocked?

The only things missing are prime steaks.
