she is dumb as a brick. tramadol is a very weak pill, and with a prescription cost out of pocket about 10 cents a piece. Trying to sneak in a cheap useless pain pill is dumb.

You don’t know about the awesome times that can be had in McAllen or Edinburg. You can take a leisurely stroll in Reynosa to experience authentic Mexican culture. And how can you hate a county that produced legendary Tom Landry?

Again, local news “investigative unit” goes after some obscure person over a nothing burger of a story. But doesn’t have the balls to confront the governor, mayor, or legislators over lock downs or the real frickery they participate in.

Thanks 9news for exposing this sinister, high -ranking official’s crimes. Now about JBE and those casinos or LaToya and her taxes?

Years ago you could walk across in Laredo, the first street was littered with Dr's office/pharmacies over and over.

You could go to the Dr and tell him what you wanted (valium, xanex, etc etc etc) he would write a script and you go next door to fill it cheap.

There were limits on what you could bring back, like 250 of each but you had a legal prescription and could check them in at the border.

A friend told me this

I love how in the story the reporter wrote this.

“ WAFB’s Scottie Hunter did reach out to Ms. Brand for comment on her arrest and to clarify any of the crimes she’s accused of committing. While she did not offer any comment on the arrest, she did ask that WAFB not air the report.”

You know people on the West Bank will gossip about this and it will spread faster than being on WAFB’s website or TV.

It already made it to Tigerdroppings, so half the Gulf South will know about it.

I took Tramadol after a surgery and it was like a miracle drug. No pain, no high feeling, extra energy. In fact, I liked it so much it scared me so I stopped taking it.

I can understand going the extra mile to boost commerce in WBR, but this is ridiculous.

while you are correct, I doubt WBR peeps didn't already know about this. Small town, news travels fast. Faster then the 9News investigative unit. Not that gossip is unique to small towns.

link to new arrest

We grew up together, so this is a weird one.

Though, not entirely unexpected.

All she needs is a tax evasion charge and she will get the hat trick, and probably be elected governor in a few years.

I don't see the problem. As a member of the chamber of commerce, it is her responsibility to build an attractive business climate in her community and then seek out new and exciting business opportunities.
