I owned one in the late 90's....no they are not comfortable nor does it enhance things romantically

Like everything, they have different levels of quality.

The one big bag beds were awful.
The ones with individual tubes you filled weren't bad at all

You obviously never took the sheets off and poured a bottle of baby oil on the waterbed and made the secks.

I put pressure one one area displacing the water in that particular spot then released the pressure thus causing the water to return. That particular motion caused waves or "jiggles".

Regular waterbeds sucked. The softside waterbeds were pretty comfortable. But they were just a pain in the arse to setup.

Hell yes (to a 20 yr old with a hard on every night), I had one with the frame on the floor and killed the poon in it.
You knew you were doing good when they hit the floor
I loved mine

I had a nice one when I lived in Califronia.
It had tubes and heater to keep it warm which I rarely used in Southern Califronia.

I still have one and love it, I am losing the battle for a sleep number with the wife unit though. I've got about a month left and it will be gone forever.

So much truth in this post.

Bags sucked. The ones with foam inside were ok, but not great. Wouldn't sleep on one if given the chance. I had them as a kid.

Had an 80% motion free one.
Everything ends up cuddling the heaviest thing in the bed.
It was awful to have sex on however.
