their BBQ has no redeeming value?

The Siege of Baghdad has to be one of the greatest atrocities in human history so the Mongolians are a very reasonable pick.

The Barbary Pirates are overlooked assholes.
They were such assholes tormenting international shipping in the 19th century that even the then fledgling United States sent over some Marines to teach them a lesson and neutralize their capabilities.

Fun fact: the Mongols practiced religious tolerance. There were Muslim, Animist, and even Christian Mongols.

It's like 32 episodes, and worth the watch
Anyone want to let me borrow an account? Or is there a subscription service? I just can’t justify 160 bucks for it at the moment

Yep, and I don't think it's even close. No one else ever carried out an order to kill every living thing in their path, including everything from tigers to cattle to bugs.

Do you live in Baton Rouge? The public library has some Great Courses things on the Overdrive app

Molech worshippers are high on the list.

Looks like it’s just 10 bucks a month for a subscription with unlimited access and I will definitely spring for that

Carlin argues the Persians were the most tolerant people/empire that ruled that region when they ruled. Everyone before them was more brutal.

This sounds like a freshman business major's answer to the question. Especially the last two - crusades & Persians?
