we went to Lakeside Mall in metry last weekend and it was actually really nice.
What's Lakeside's secret? Almost every other mall in the region has either closed down or gotten much worse and Lakeside is nicer than ever.

They have to have stores that will appeal to the masses that go there still.

It is becoming Cortana.... RAPIDLY

And it will fail for the same reason that Cortana did. And frankly the reason all retail stores will eventually fail. No one wants to deal with the loitering thugs and thugettes.

There is a reason people want to buy from the computer, they want to avoid the clientele that are attracted to malls for the last decade and a half. There's no putting the Genie back into the bottle.

There is NO secret, there is nothing "nicer than ever" there. It's just a means to shite on anything and everything BR.

Did you hit up Perkins Rowe since you were in that area?

I went to the mall on Sunday and experience much of what the OP experienced. Was not nearly as bad as the OT makes it out to be. I don’t want to make a habit of going there often but I needed a gift for the wife and Dillards was my destination.

I've lived in East Baton Rouge Parish for over 65 years and am proud to say I've never been inside the Mall of Louisiana.

Urban outfitting

I don't go there often but the girls and the gf like Dillards. And Lids U right near the entrance in the mall is frickin awesome. They have a TON of LSU shite in there including Nike Dri Fit hats and shirts to LSU themed gifts like coffee mugs, wall hangings, and paddles.

Aside from Northpark in Dallas, I haven't been to a mall in years

OT is like Reddit, not real. Just on opposite far ends of the spectrum

Why in the world would anyone think about a shitty mall in Louisiana? That’s just mind bending to me to even fathom the thought of something like that

Yep. It’s still very much a nice mall.
I still hate going there, but they are doing well.
