Not sure about LA, but Arkansas does not charge more for Real I D vs regular license. There is a $10 fee if you upgrade before license is up for renewal

3 months ago the lady at ABC Title said they would be able to issue Real IDs soon. Not sure if they can yet or not but I sure hope they can before October 2020. No way I will go to DMV if I have another option.

Yes, and you don’t necessarily have to have a US birth certificate to apply for a US passport either. The state department has a special form

I thought state issued drivers licenses were acceptable as long as the state was compliant with the federal rules? I didn’t think you needed a separate ID

You’re fine for flying now without the Real ID but you may have issues getting into some Government facilities.

OWL, I saw you tried to call me out on the MSB because you thought App St wasn't a division 1 school.
They have been in the Sun Belt conference since 2014 (Sun Belt is a FBS conference. Not a Power 5 conference, but a D1 school).
Just a FYI, don't ever challenge me when it comes to sports. You will try too hard to try to make me look stupid and you will fail... Especially college football. And I am not just talking shite. I am serious.
