Have you considered possibly using some of that posting time reaching 77K posts learning about anything valuable to daily life?
Also... Real ID has been posted here multiple times, so... Self centered poster much?

Just get a passport like normal people do.

shite I don't even know where my birth certificate is.
There's other documentation you can take. Basically you're proving proof of address, proof of residency and proof of registration with social security. I took my passport, my voter registration card and a bill or something like that. You should be able to start the process online and choose which documents you will bring with you. That's how it worked in Virginia. Not sure if Louisiana is setup to begin the process online.

I didn't even know about this until today. But I see that it says starting Oct 1, 2020 everyone will have to show updated drivers license. And that its some TSA bull shite.
Can someone better explain this bull shite to me?
They became available July 1st with the October 1, 2020 date for travel implications to go into effect. As I understand it, the rule is intended to add a layer of verification of the individual's identification for air travel.

I was told they won't accept a TWIC which makes absolutely no sense.
update: I stand corrected, from TSA Q & A online:
The TSA notes that some transportation security officers at check points do not recognizethe TWIC card as an accepted form of identification. TSA Administrator John S. Pistole ensures that TSA officers will receive the necessary training to recognize the TWIC as proper identification.
Also, a passport is great unless you have driven out of state for work and an emergency at home requires you to fly home immediately. Who takes their passport with them when they drive somewhere?

Use a passport like the rest of us.
Passports are one of the best small investments you can make. I’m not even talking about travel wise, just having that universal document for identity/citizenship purposes for various reasons like employment/banking/housing etc, every body takes that document and streamlines those processes

The Real ID Act was passed during the Bush administration...
ETA: And the requirements were originally supposed to go into effect in 2008. A few states (Louisiana included) kept fighting back against the requirements, which is why the deadline kept getting pushed back.
That said, you’ve been able to get a Real ID-compliant license in LA since 2016 so this isn’t exactly a new thing.
ETA2: Also, not sure if they are enforcing yet but you aren’t supposed to be able to use a non-compliant ID for ANYTHING with the federal government. Including things like entering a federal courthouse.

In Texas you have to provide a certified birth certificate issued from the state you were born in (I could not use an official copy with a raised seal....had to request certified one from Louisiana).
I used my passport as a form of ID and then had to provide proof of residency (utility bill, voter registration)
And had the pleasure of waiting all day to do this because there were no appointments that day
