Our golden is pretty chill about most things but will not leave me alone if he's awake while I'm playing FIFA. The only other game I really play is MLB The Show, which he could care less about.

I think it's a not so subtle "your dork arse has time to play PS4 soccer but can't take me for a walk?" (I assume it has to be a sound thing)

I have 4 rescues. One runs out to meet me every time I drive up, and squats and pees a little when I open my car door.
Another one is obsessed with rocks. He smells them UNDERGROUND and digs them up. Then he digs a hole and plays “let the rock roll into the hole then pull it back out again.” Forever. Until his nose bleeds. He also fetches them and carries them around. He’s carried around at least a 10 lb. rock in his mouth. Doesn’t give a flip about sticks or toys.

Once my dog sees me turn in the Xbox, he stomps his feet and whines until I get his tennis ball from under the couch

He’s like if you get to play then I get to play.

For a long time, he was a free roaming dog. He pissed and shat at his pleasure. Now, though, he has been relegated to the inside, and only a small yard. He learned very quickly to squeak the frick out of his toy when he wants me to take him on a walk. He will aggressively stand in front of wherever I am, look me in the eye, and squeeze it as hard as he can.

ETA: 13 year old Border Collie

I have a yorkie and a bernedoodle, when they hear me say bye to someone they start barking.

When I sneeze, my bernedoodle gets up and has to check on me by jumping on me.

Back when we had 2 cats and a labradoodle pit mixed my wife would play the red dot with the cars. Then one day my pup starting chasing it too. Now it’s 7 years later my dog will only eat when she has played with Dottie. I swear she will no eat without it.

When I was a little kid, my folks took in a Bench-Legged Beagle stray. We named him Leroy.

Little dude got asthma in his older years, had to stop and hack it out. But still followed dutifully on my paper route.

The neighbors knew their paper was coming when they heard my asthma beagle & me struggling down the road.

Thanks lockdown, I still have the same hair.

My dog is an escape artist.

I was warned at the shelter when I adopted her. They said "yeah her last family had a chain link fence and she'd scale it". This is a 50 lb year old hound/lab mix and the last family didn't want her as she liked to escape. High energy dog and I take her on walks every day as well as other activities to burn off that energy.

One day I was washing my truck in the front and I had her tied to a stake in the front so she could lay in the shade of the garage and still go out on the grass. Not even five minutes she managed to get out of her harness and decided to hang out in the neighbors yard.

Earlier today she wanted to be fussy and not come inside so I left her in the back. I have a 7' privacy fence so I figure she can't scale that. Nope, she decided to dig a one foot hole underneath the gate just big enough to get out. Fortunately I got a Whistle locator on her collar. I'm sitting in my office and I get alerts that she's away from the house. She decided to run through the wooded area down the street. She did come to me when called so it wasn't like I had to spend all day looking for her.

Later in the day I got some chicken wire and buried along the area of the gate to discourage her digging there. I plan on doing that along the fence in a few areas. Even when I was doing that, I had her tied up with a new harness in the back yard since I can't leave her inside without destroying everything. I turn around and she's tugging away trying to get the harness off.

She also thinks she's a lap dog and will go ape shite watching birds. I bought this small drone to fly around and she'll go nuts chasing and jumping in the air to catch it.

I’m finishing up night number one with our new puppy. It was a super easy first day and a very predictable night. I think we’ve got a good one here.

I put wasabi on a sock where she could get it to try and teach her a lesson. Damn dog gobbled it up then drank water like there was no tomorrow.

And she LOVES toilet paper. As in she’ll sit at the toilet and unroll the whole damn roll off the holder like it’s a lollipop. We only know what she eats after the lawn man comes....there are shreds of crap all over the yard.
