I have this dog too. When I take her fishing with me, she will dive under the console if we go under a bridge or something like that. It's funny.

I could write a dissertation on my Australian Shepherd. It's easily the weirdest animal I've ever been around. We've truly considered prozac for him.

Had a mutt that if he heard a siren would just start howling. Would howl and howl for 5 minutes.

Another black lab that would NOT cross a cord. Vacuum cord, extension cord, would not cross it. If you made a circle around him with a cord he would stay there forever.

She will only eat on soft surfaces. She used to carry her full food bowl to the rug and get food everywhere so now I just put the bowl on the rug to begin with.

After eating, she needs a few minutes to roll around smushing her face into her hands and the rug.

She “nervous poos” anytime she gets taken somewhere. Someone’s house, the pet store.. doesn’t matter. If it’s somewhere new, she has to poop immediately. Even if she went before we left.

She doesn’t eat dry kibble by itself. I put a few tablespoons of wet food and mix it. Since I buy the large cans and just re-lid them and store in the fridge, her bowl has to be microwaved 20 seconds and stirred well prior to feeding. People think it’s crazy my dog gets warm meals.

Every time my dad watches her while I’m out of town, he reiterates that I have a strange neurotic dog who is somehow just like me

Mine is the same. She especially hates laundry baskets. If my wife or I are doing laundry and carry a basket into the den to fold clothes, she'll burrow under a blanket on the couch.

She's a skittish dog overall. She HATES the beeping noise my sous vide makes. She'll run and hide under a bed if she sees me get it out.

Mine goes nuts over Cheese Balls. If she even sees the bag when I get home from the store, she starts dancing around howling wanting some. If I'm sitting on the couch eating some while watching TV, she crawls up in my lap and stares at me until I give her some.

Goofy arse boxer.

Our 2nd family day was like this, she was a 30# miniature rat terrier (shaped like a weenie dog)
Laundry baskets, a jacket on the chair, a fly swatter, a slinky...she was “terrified” of everything
She would run to one of my parents, get in their lap & tremble
Either me or my brother would get in trouble for doing it on purpose (carrying the laundry basket to the laundry room)

I still think she did it on purpose to try to get us in trouble

My golden retriever has two

1. He won't go through any cracked door. Even though there is clearly enough space for him to pass through, he will just sit there and whimper until the door is fully opened.

2. At around 10:30 every night he goes to bed on his own and tucks himself in. Doesn't matter where I am in the house. He just gets up, goes the the bedroom, jumps in bed, and then used his mouth to pull the covers partially over him.

wets the floor every time Joe Biden appears on TV. Funny thing, she's house trained.

Show me where on the chew toy he touched you Fido.

I had an english bulldog that that absolutely hated mockingbirds. No other birds got a reaction from her but if she saw a mockingbird she would growl and charge it. I hate that she never caught one.

She also hated the vacuum cleaner. She would attack it when in use. One time we wanted to see what would happen if we just let her go. The hose got ripped off. We never found some of the attachments.

She also didn't like it when you didn't put stuff up. If it wasn't supposed to be there she would bark at it. If you didn't get to work putting the groceries up when you got back from the store she would let you now it. Bags on the counter were not tolerated.

When I turn my Xbox off, she immediately gets in her crate. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Our 1st rescue was weird about doors, she ran through the door
She would walk like normal but when she got close to the doorway she broke into a sprint
