Pennies are legal tender for debt so I don't see how they can reject it. What did they expect you to do? Give them $6.60 or more and not get change back? You should have said ok, left them 6.55 and walked out. What could they have legally done, they rejected the exact payment.

Been dealing with the same with my Dad since May. Last week he spent a week in North Oaks. That place gets knocked by a lot of people but from our experience it is top notch.

I haven't went in there in years. I stopped and bought a drink at the "icebox" store next door on friday. I thought I was in Pakistan. There was a couple older black guys sitting at a table but literally everyone else in there was Indian/Arab or something. One dude was even wearing a turbin.

I stopped at a gas station near Gonzales around lunch time yesterday.
As I went to check out the clerk was bitching to her co-worker that a guy was talking shite to her because she put his change on the counter instead of in his hand. She was pissy that his hand looked dirty and she wasn't touching his hand and told him that.
She was also complaining that his boots were full of mud and how she was going to have to mop up the mess later.

I've had this happen before, too. I don't think it's racial per se, but it's always black women who do it. Just one of those weird things that ghetto people worry about that no one else does.
