As a historical fact New Orleans was only around 25% Black in 1960, as a result of various federal policy changes rural Negroes from throughout the south migrated, whatever was washed away by Katrina were in NO as the result of a different earlier flood, shite happens.

People with sad lives make a thing over silly shite like change in the hand or change on the counter. People with happy lives never think of stupid shite like this, because well, they’re happy. Hammond is not what I would consider a very happy place overall. It’s almost to be expected that if it’s going to be a thing it would probably be in a place like Hammond that it’s a thing.
