Yea its shitty. Theres a really strong part of me that says we should say frick JBE and have it anyway and make sure everyone knows we understand them not coming and are aware itll be poorly attended.
The other part of me is stressing pretty hard about the "right" way to handle it.

Wedding I'm DJing at this weekend cancelled the reception (against the bride and grooms wishes). Ceremony still on as of now.

I feel you there. This is a logistical nightmare. So many moving parts that came with planning this thing, and now a massive wrench gets thrown into everything.

I'm just concerned about the money my in laws have spent. They've already paid for the reception and all, people already took off work, etc.
So it's either that, have it anyway and nothing bad happens, or have it anyway and people get sick and me be the dick faced jackass. Or postpone it and find out a year from now that we totally derailed our lives for no fricking reason. All amid a fiancee not wanting to hear any of it. Good times.

We just rescheduled our daughter’s upcoming wedding in BR. We had to decide quickly in order to keep our venue & get other vendors confirmed for the new date and also give our ~200 guests time to cancel their travel plans. Sucks, but better to do it now & be able to have the same vendors working with you

Well honestly, I'd rather somebody have a cold for a week than call this off. If I could just get this myself post-wedding so no one else did I'd take my chances with that. My gut tells me that this is nothing more than an off brand common cold that has been blown out of proportion. Nobody was postponning weddings for swine flu. But i dont want the PD showing up and disbanding it. I also dont want someone's mawmaw to get it and dying, even though my gut instinct is that wont happen, but it could. It's a shitty situation.
