It is a very easy grill to operate

Anybody who is bragging on this has never owned a ceramic grill. The Webber is more nostalgic but if you think it is versatile and can cook anything, I’ve literally slow cooked a pork butt for 10 hours and then did some stir fry vegetables on my wok in the same grill 15 minutes after I took the butt off. I’ve gotten my egg up to 750 degrees and cooked a pizza in 7 minutes. Get my egg up to 650 and sear my steak to where I do 2 mins on each side and let it rest for 8 and it comes out perfect medium rare. Webber can’t do that and anyone who says it can is full of it.

Love mine, does everything I need it to. Use it to cook dinner a few times a week, occasionally smoke a chicken in it. Held up for years.

Yep still have one along with a kamado joe. Use the KJ more but never getting rid of my Weber Kettle. Did my first ever brisket on one. it didn’t turn out great but not the fault of the Weber as it was operator error. I still use mine about once a month for burgers and steaks.

The older I get the less I feel like dumping and dealing with the charcoal. It burns for hours. You only use it to cook for 20 minutes or so. It’s just a pain and wasteful.
You can reuse lump charcoal

I saw one fall out the back of a truck turning off Highland road one night. I came back the next morning and found it in the ditch. Kept that sucker for 15 yrs. One small dent on the side.
I picked up a free one 2 days ago my neighbors had out for trash. One of the wheels had come off. I snapped the wheel back on and it’s good as new. It’s in much better shape than mine at the deer camp, so that’s where it’s going.

I could kick myself, 2 years ago Sams club had their knockoff of this for $99, a friend got one and it was great. They went on clearance for $79 and I still didn't get one.
They stopped selling them.

Is that what it’s called?

How expensive are these grills?
One person is digging through trash for a broken one. Another person is kicking themself 2 years later bc it went on sale and they didn’t purchase.

The entry level Weber kettle is $109. You’re still kicking yourself 2 years later over not saving $30 on a knockoff kettle?

The sams wasn't equivalent to the entry level weber.

Bought mine on sale at Slowes for 79.00. It's a cooking machine. Took it to a friends years ago in my truck and on the way back it spilled over in the bed. Woke up the next morning and no lid. Retraced my route and found the lid in a banks outside area. Picked it up and still going strong.

I could use my grill to melt your Weber Kettle down and shape the molten metal into patties, and the resulting burgers from my grill would be delicious.

Is love the kettle. But damn that thing is hard to roll around. That third leg always gets stuck and everything falls apart

650F is the max I've gotten on my weber when I use Kingsford Professional.

Had one on the dock for years.
This past season one of the storms swept it off the dock and into the water.
A few days later, at low tide, I saw the bottom legs sticking up out of the water.
I got chills. It was meant to be. I jumped in, swam out and pulled it out of the mud. Washed it off. Now I need grates and a top and it’s all good.
I think that’s pretty cool

I never cook steaks on grill. I go cast iron pan on top of a fish fryer. Flip every 2 minutes till done. Perfect every time. Gets a nice crust in outside and nice and pink on the inside
