CBS NEWS SPECIAL REPORT: The Vanishing Family-- "Crisis in Black America"

From 1986
quote:

The statistics about what happened over the past FIVE decades to the once stalwart and steadfast American black family, the backbone of the black community, are shocking and distressing. In an unflinching account that tries to understand why this disintegration started and why it continues, CBS News gives life to the statistics through intimate portraits of young black adults facing the emotional and financial difficulties of single parenthood. With its candor and openness, "The Vanishing Family" may very well be the most important documentary in recent memory.

The victim card and brainwashing in starting younger and younger in today's America. Mind you, no one from the black community wants to talk about the biggest issue that is driving the racial inequality in this country ... the lack of coherent family structure in the black community. Two parent homes are infinitely more successful that single parent homes.

So there was this recent Burgess Owens interview:

quote:

BURGESS: Yeah, well, the NAACP, you have to understand, they’re not trying to find justice. They’re not trying to find fairness or even bring American people together. They have one issue and one thing that they’re after right now. At the end of the day, they are shameless in breeding black voters. They want to get the black community up in arms and angry, more hopeless than they’ve already made them, so they go out and vote in November. At the end of the day, that is their goal.

It didn’t matter what happened. In this case, here’s a black man, a black policeman, who shot a black man with an armed — a firearm. You have black police chief. You have a white Democrat mayor. All that is a perfect scenario for our affirmative action community that we have today. But yet it all takes in our community today, six weeks out, is for some black person to get shot. It doesn’t matter why. Is to have the NAACP and their group trying to get in and rev up their voters.

Not really, she's saying that it isn't happening because we are killing them.

They don't believe in the white man's laws. They've been saying that since I've been alive. Color me unsurprised at our racial problems.

The main goal of the Democratic party was to get the Father out of the house. Which is why the Mother doesn't get full benefits if the Father is in the house.

They keep the Females needing Big Daddy govt, and thus cultivating votes, generation by generation.

It's actually pretty terrible by 1 party to be so shamefully corrupt.

Bottom right - wasn't Justin Carr on video being murdered by a black guy that eventually confessed to it?

Unfortunately, BLM really sucks at picking martyrs.

ETA: Carr was the victim, I think. He was shot by another protester.

Doesn't matter if he was victim or suspect. He was black and did not have to die.

Apparently that's the thinking. "So what if he was going to take an officer's life they didn't have to shoot him."

They do.

Someone said of Mike Brown - he's no Rosa Parks and he's no Emmett Till.

This.

Had (have) a great example in my own father. He's my role model and hero. I aim to be just half the husband/father(eventually) he is. Many of my peers weren't so fortunate.

Improvement starts in the home. Period.
