Over the past several weeks I have started clicking/watching the random reels generated by people. Most of them are attention seeking women. The mystery to me is many of the clips have someone filming them. And they are often pointless besides "look at me" Who the hell is filming them? I hope it's not the boyfriend or husband.

The latest one I saw was a 15 second clip of a woman walking out of a restaurant in a dress to go to her next destination. That is it. There are so many similar videos.

It is both funny to watch and also pathetic at the same time.

I love watching reels, but mine are more focused on fishing, golf and airplanes.

it's pretty crazy how blatantly copying someone else's video is completely ok now. half of IG reels or tiktoks are people doing what is essentially a frame for frame re-shoot of another video.

I get a lot of golf ones popping up. Weird because I don't golf, don't post pictures of golfing, and don't click on golf links.

Yawn, everything old is new again.

John C. Calhoun was reportedly quite adept at the Virginia reel.

The fairer sex of Charleston were positively agog at his agility in the dance.

People have way too much self importance these days. No one gives a shite about your political views, thoughts on the vaccine, or really any of that shite.

Post something funny. That’s all I want is funny. Oh, and your hot daughters and friends, but that makes me a tad bit creepy but some are in their 20’s by now.

It certainly posed a bit of an moral dilemma when they came to our yearly end-of-school pool parties. Some of them were walking in fashion shows and making $200/hr. as swimwear models. Heaven forbid they would start dancing. If we had only known how to capitalize monetarily on that at the time I could be retired now.

When out in public I've found myself looking for the influencers in revealing clothing who do dumb tik toks and reels in parking garages, in front of parks, etc.

There are millions of them and I want to see how stupid some of these people look IRL doing this stuff.

I saw someone filming themselves for tiki tok or YouTube at Epcot and they looked ridiculous. Sitting on a bench with a selfie stick expounding on some food item.

It's usually a rich old guy that's flying them to exotic locations to frick them for pay. There used to be a website that a guy had set up where he loaded his Instagram to look like a Saudi Prince and he'd post the conversations he had with the "models" agreeing to do some lude shite (like play in doodoo) if he flew them somewhere.

Found it: Tag the sponsor

Seems like a good way to get sex trafficked.

There are some nuggets of gold in those reels - like the occasional dog or cat video - but you're right; its mostly attention seeking whores.

I saw one that had a caption like "I heard my son tell his friends that I was annoying" and the video featured an annoyed looking teenager in the background while his mom lip synced the lyrics to Holla Back Girl

I heard that you were talking shite
And you didn't think that I would hear it
People hear you talking like that
Getting everybody fired up

I had to agree with the kid; she's annoying.
