They should do one for the hundreds of weekly shootings by gangbangers.

You won’t see this BS anymore after Trump owns the Washington Post:

I'm sure it's a big propaganda piece against the 2A and AR-15s, but it still makes you think...

It makes me think, alright. It makes me think the author is soft-headed enough to believe that if we all disarm, the violent criminals will disarm as well. They won't and it's literally impossible to make them (until they are caught/killed from committing a crime).

Beyond that, it makes me think the author is either not interested in facts (ie: did not research) or is utterly ignorant and just spewing emotional drivel (either way makes them a piss-poor journalist).

Mass shootings (where at least 4 people die from being shot in a single firearm-related event) are a small fraction of total firearms deaths (the largest is suicide). Even when an AR is present in mass shootings, it's often not the only firearm used. ARs are used so rarely in shootings that ALL deaths from rifles falls below that of deaths by hands, feet, fist, etc.

Not if you cherrypick data, or just openly lie and know that no one will call you out because they haven't in a decade plus.

To save everyone some time, they are painting a narrative that basically every mass shooting is committed by a person with a full auto AR-15 shooting .50 caliber rounds out of a 100-round drum magazine.

Very sad and tragic, but inaccurate and doesn't address the core issues that lead to the shootings.

The GOAT gun also, one single AR-15 can make a deer turn into smithereens. Ask Joy Behar or whatever her name is

1. The Las Vegas shooting was not an AR-15. It was a belt fed machine gun. Ask anyone who has been in the military.

2. The only picture from sandy hook inside the school is that one picture. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but was hoping finally there would be more pictures of the actual crime scene. And there were none. Very peculiar.

Why hasn’t the Nashville Christmas Day Bomber’s manifesto been released?

Trust me on this one. It was schizo ramblings. Like, we joke about lizard people. That dude actually believed it. The only reason it hasn't been released is that MNPD doesn't want it brought back up that they dropped the ball on investigating him.

I used to go out with my dad when he worked nights as an on call insurance agent. Unfortunately we made multiple scenes right after the bodies were removed, and it's crazy how blood can tell a story. Gave me a beyond healthy respect for trucks.

As a gun owner, I understand this is an anti-AR/gun piece, but I also need to see the evil that a gun can be used for as much as the good a gun can be used for. Same thing that all adults need to know Disney world exists, as well as Auschwitz.

Gang shootings are generally not considered mass shootings.

There are more out there. Just not in that article. Besides, did you not read the descriptions of how they found the kids in SH? Photos of that are never going to be publicly released.

Nothing peculiar about it, frankly.

I don't know. I read a couple dozen of the comments from the page and that was scarier than imagining the reality of these pictures. People are full blown idiots to the extent that some of them think wapo is some sort of amazing gift to the world.

Good way to put it. I hope I’m never in a situation where I’m forced to use a gun, because it’s certainly not something I want to do.

Evil is what these shooters are. I agree they shouldn't have guns, but Police/Feds have dropped the ball on numerous of these guys.

Call me when they post pictures from shootings that happen every day in Chicago, DC, and New Orleans. DC alone probably has as many murders each year as the deaths from the photos they shared. Yet they are silent on that. It is disgracefully slanted journalism.

I would just about guarantee heroin and fentanyl kill more people daily than guns and yet they continue to allow it to flow freely across the border. Our government is just as bad as any mass shooter this country has ever seen.

They are for propaganda purposes in terms of conflating them with big-news public mass shootings. Gun-control advocates count all mass shootings in order to inflate the numbers for public perception, but outside of using those bodies to dance upon for political gain they are astutely ignored.
