People and politicians need to learn that for profit corporations want to make profit. If you want those stores in those areas, then clean up the culture and corrupt issues that exist there, then stores will come.

Walgreens stores in Chicago blast opera music outside to keep undesirables away. It’s really spooky and surreal for some reason when you see it in person, and also hilarious that they do it and it works.

Yep. It’s coming.
As we slide further into a low-trust society, brick-and-mortar retail is going to look less like shopping and more like picking up supplies from a fortified concrete bunker.
Two options: pay upfront and have your order brought out to the parking lot, or pay extra to have it delivered to your house.

THIS is what needs to be addressed long before any mentions of "adjusting" social security for people that have paid a lifetime into it is even mentioned. There are waaay too many healthy, working age people eating and not working.
It's friken amazing that there is a push for more foreigners to enter the country to "work" when we have tons of people who refuse to work now.
The idiots who are shooting up neighborhoods in the early dawn hours will be in damn bed if they are made to work and spend all day framing houses.
