$5 plus tip. Can easily be $10 for it. So if you're ordering cheap food it feels very expensive.

Those same people that developed Waitr are working on another delivery service that will deliver anything for you.

Need something from Lowe’s? Need some beer from the wine store across town? Need some school supplies from WalMart?

I stopped using them a while ago. Just go get your food.

Anyone that complains about their food after delivery is the problem. You are fat and lazy. Most foods are better fresh unless you are eating McDonald's or something similar that is loaded with preservatives.

If a person uses a restaurant delivery service often at their home, they are terrible with money.

I pretty much agree with this.

Maybe I don’t mind because I only order stuff I would eat at a sit down restaurant. I would be tipping there. So it really only feels like it costs me $5 (or $4) more. That’s easily worth the convenience of having it brought to me, even when it takes longer than I would like. I don’t think it is worth it for fast food or a poboy.

Plus, most people tip for pickup anyway. Maybe not 20%, but at least 10%

Put that on a nice sign and hang it on your living room wall. One day when you have been out of work and too "old" to be hired, you will look at that sign and comprehend the words.

I’ve had the opposite happen in the recent months. Since they increased their fees I’ve found their delivery is much better.

If your great-grandfathers knew that you delicate flowers were driving past grocery stores on your way home, then paying someone to go to a restaurant to bring you food, then complaining that your food wasn’t hot enough and it took too long...

They’d wipe the Nazi blood off of their bayonets and cut off their own dicks.

If my great grandfather knew I was buying groceries, he'd roll over in his grave.

Now imagine if he knew about all the soy boys out there spending $5 for a coffee or people saying a man pretends to be a woman and you are a racist if you don't agree with their mental illness.

I pass zero grocery stores on my way home. Or gas stations. But it looks like a fricking resort on my commute.

I wish it would give you an estimate BEFORE submitting your order. You shouldn’t order food and find out its going to take over an hour to get to you and have no way to cancel the order without going through customer service.

WTF? What a shite food app. Love all the idiots on the Money Board who were hyping this trash stock pick when it went public. Hopefully they lost their shirts.

A lot of times if the delivery is late it is not the fault of the Waitr delivery people but the restaurants running late. I was in Hooters Metairie for lunch the other day and sitting right by the front bar. They had a Waitr delivery girl that was waiting for her order and she stood there waiting a good 20 minutes before the order was given to her.

Typical Liz post, absolutely no relevance to the thread other than to drop a sad brag attempt

No grocery stores? Poor thing must live in a food desert. Hopefully she doesn't commit crimes due to her lack of access to fruits and vegetables.
