Voice mailbox is full

Am I being petty, or is this a good excuse to never do business with someone ever again?
if I am trying to get in touch with a person, and they cannot be responsible enough to make sure their voicemail has empty slots, is this really a person that I want to interact with on a professional level?
you try to give people work, and they don't have their stuff together. It's very frustrating

The only reason I have a voicemail is to waste scammers' money

Maybe some people are making deals happen and there phones fill up within 3hrs and they dont get to those vms till the end of the day

It's frustrating, no doubt. If you can't return my call or take the voicemail, I'm going to move on after 2-3 calls.

From my experience, they are the same people who don't respond to emails either

"Start Topic"
People who leave voice mails.
Are they fricking stupid enough that they have to leave me a minute and a half voice mail and not send me a quick professional email in regards to what is needed. WTF is this, 1996?

Exactly, some many other routes to get in contact with me. Email me or text me.

I hate voicemails. Just send me a damn text if I dont pick up....worst is the voicemail that is a minute long and basically says nothing but call me back.
I usually keep my voice mailbox full just to discourage that

Learn how to type and send an email. Then there is a trail for both of you to go back and see what was agreed to.

I know several people that leave their mailbox full on purpose because they dont want people leaving them messages.....
One is my wife and the other is my lawyer.
Yes, it's very fricking frustrating

Is the VM being full better or worse than someone in 2019 not having their VM set up?
Posted on 4/11/19 at 3:34 pm to CaptainsWafer
It is worse, I understand not taking voicemails. I don't agree, but I understand.
Letting it fill up shows you just do not give a shite.

I let people leave me voicemails but I hardly listen. I just see who called, decide if I want to call them back but delete the VM either way. There's no point in letting a mailbox get full unless you are irresponsible.

What if I've never setup my voicemail?
Posted on 4/11/19 at 3:52 pm to Rouge
I never even bothered setting my voice mailbox up on my work phone. I will call you back, or you can text me or email me, or try my cell again later.
You are selfish to think you are entitled to voicemail space on my phone, you simple little bitch.

I really, really hate receiving voicemail. Having my phone automatically transcribe VM is probably the best thing to come from the past decade.

Same here, if I call someone back that left me a voicemail the first thing I'll tell them is I saw they called but didn't listen to the voicemail

Plenty of situations where that's not possible, but otherwise, you're right.
