Was there a State Trooper every 5 miles? If there wasn't...it wasn't quite vintage? What about St. Tammany Parish running radar behind every overpass?
The wrecks are bad...but man I can travel from Huntsville, AL to Sulphur, La and see 20 police....10-12 will be on I-12. That ~85 miles of road has more police than the rest of the 600+ mile trip. And everyone is hitting their brakes constantly. If people would just do the speed limit or there abouts..it wouldn't be a problem.
