Yepp, not sure why people are saying they got shots off. Even if they did they aren’t hitting shite when moving that much
They easily got shots fired off and were very close to identifying a potential target. However, they easily could have done it better for sure.
Just a question - we're all reacting - but how much do you know about accuracy in a situation like this?

And if you miss, you now make it nearly impossible to beat Trump. Which is the situation we're now in.
Which is why they'll have to try again.

I’m not saying they didn’t get shots off at all. Just clearly not in this video. That’s what I’m confused about

What do you mean by “in a situation like this”? A gun is a gun. I know that the act of breathing can have an impact on your shot, even at 150 yards. So spazzing out, like they did in that video, will 100% without a doubt impact accuracy.
I’m not trying to imply anything by saying this. My best guess is soon after that video ends the kneeling sniper repositions and domes the shooter.
I’m just curious why people think they can tell those guys were firing shots in that video when they clearly weren’t. No conspiracy theorist here. Just speaking specifically to the comments made about this video.
The only surprising part is two trained snipers first reaction was to duck for cover when shots started popping off. At least the kneeling guy recovered quickly and repositioned

Are we sure that guy in the video even took the killshot?
Posted on 7/13/24 at 11:28 pm to Chicken
That’s what I’m wondering, too.

However, shooter got took out quickly. It's a lot different IMO being in an aggressive clear, compared to a defensive react.
It's not that easy to just wait for someone to come into range of what you're scoping when you're playing defense and scanning an area.

I just want to know if people are coming from hunting, CoD, or real life scenarios.

Maybe it was a restaurant with parapet walls.
They said the roof was sloped but that is was a glass plant or something like that.

I am ignorant on many things.
I never try to assert an opinion on those things.
Why do you?

quote:the scope limits your field of view due to magnification. The snipers simply had not seen the guy before he shot. He’d be difficult to see with all the trees and shite in the background, the roof slope, etc.
I don’t understand why he took his head off his rifle.. seems like poor training
Snipers did their job. The issue as stated is why security was not maintained on that building roof.

It seems like a drone would kinda be a regular thing used for security these days. I mean, it could have seen the guy crawl 30 feet with a rifle across a metal roof before he peaked over the ridge.

SS should have cleared EVERY building and had people stationed on every roof within a 1 mile radius. This has FBI and CIA written all over it.
Exactly, that roof was so close SS should have been on THAT roof. and WHY weren’t they.
Amateur mistake. My sheriff would have done a better job securing DJT.

I don't think they need permission to engage. It's not a warzone where you need permission to bomb a building or whatever.
Secret Service doesn't have time for all that when a guy has a rifle aimed at the president.

0 military training. Just grew up shooting guns as long as I have memories. I did play quite a bit of mw2 as well but idk how that relates to this lol
I just know that them spazzing out like that wouldn’t have been helpful for shooting accurate. Very slight movements, I’m talking an aggressive exhale, can throw a shot at 150 yds off by up to a ft.
Go watch long range open sight marksmen on YouTube. They don’t move at all
