what’s up neighbourhood, one love As a vegan runner, it’s always hard for me this time of year when the weather starts warming up and folks start opening their windows. Several nights a week I’m out running around dinnertime and when people have their windows open I can smell what they are cooking. I’ve noticed a sharp uptick recently in the smell of folks cooking meat and it can be quite overpowering.

I would drag my smoaker to the edge of the road in my driveway and keep the smoke pouring out off it

has to be a troll.

before social media, when I'd recently moved to Montana, someone took out a troll ad in the paper complaining that a New Yorker couldn't find a good bagel around Missoula. Those were the good ole days when you couldn't just blast off angry replies.

Why it's so easy to hate vegans.

Even if this is fake, it illustrates why vegans are so annoying. It's not good enough to live this lifestyle, you have to also preach and tell everyone else how evil it is to eat meat and use animal products.

I've known some quiet vegans who actually feel bad that it makes choosing a restaurant more restrictive when going out to group dinners. But it seems like an awful lot of vegans are the "lost soul" type who are looking for something to believe in and proselytize about.

This is like when I post in live in game threads on MSB for people watching on cable to delay posting “spoilers” for 30 to 45 seconds as I’m watching on my Roku television through an app

If God didn't want us to eat animals, He wouldn't have made them out of meat.

Acts chapter 10
Peter’s Vision
9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. 13 Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”

As a vegan myself I can see where he is coming from. And he didn’t demand they stop cooking meat, he simply asked if they would do so without opening their windows and allowing the stench to permeate the air that we all share together

Several months ago a vegan actually sued her neighbors because she was offended by the bbq smell:

Oh man, i hate that this doesn’t get asked of me.

Steak and chicken is going on the grill most evenings.

My go to response is oh, you are offended? Well offend these nuts
