Alternatively, just go get vaccinated so this can all be over.

And how quickly people on the OT turn into antivaxxers
There is a very loud group that believes EVERYTHING VACCINE IS WRONG SO DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING!
Coincidentally there is also a very loud group that believes EVERYTHING VACCINE IS RIGHT SO DONT QUESTION IT!
And then there are people that like to think for themselves instead of just lazily picking one of the 2 sides above.

Terrible take! WE NEED TO SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN UNTIL THE VACCINE CURE HAS BEEN DISCOVERED AND ADMINISTERED TO EVERYONE! Lather, rinse, repeat for the next virus.

I am committed to following the science. From CDC.gov;
What is your point, if there is one? There has not been time to go through the usual more extensive FDA testing. They are approved on an emergency basis. Are you saying that because these vaccines are not fully approved through the usual lengthy process means they are no good? Because that is wrong.

What's your anitvaxx reason for not taking the J&J vaccine

if they had a vaccine I might consider getting it.

Jan 12th, wife got her 2nd dose of Pfizer Vaccine
Feb 12th, I tested positive for Covid
Feb 22nd wife tested positive for COVID
My symptoms we way less than hers. She still cant taste or smell, was congested and really bad for a couple days. I lost my smell for like 2 days and was congested for a couple days, never missed any work other than going to the Dr.
The Vaccine, to me, is bullshite.
You can’t use one case to come to an informed conclusion. Vaccination lowers your odds 95%. Severity in vaccinated people has been much lower ON AVERAGE than in the non-vaccinated.

All these arguments that you don’t need a vaccine because you are healthy and have a low risk of hospitalization and death are making a completely uneducated and moot point. But I digress, selfish America.
It’s not about YOU. It’s not political!!! You get vaccinated to stop the spread and protect the community instead of just saying frick all the at risk granny’s. Grow up and do something helpful for your fellow man. Self centered egocentrics just can’t understand this concept a year later. Like what in the actual frick?! End thread.
ETA the sooner we end this shite the sooner we can go back to “normal.”

If you had say so, would you make the vaccine mandatory to all?
Posted on 3/6/21 at 3:50 pm to DrewSimp82
Actually I can make the argument that the truly selfish people are the ones expecting everyone to shut down their lives for a year plus in order to be “safe” from a virus that doesn’t affect the vast majority of the population. Funny thing is that the elderly (you know the ones most affected) really aren’t the groups crying to shut it all down.

Case in point.
Retards thinking being pro vax means you obviously support shutting down for a year.

I was merely replying to previous posted claiming we all need to “stop being selfish, do what’s right, and get the vaccine so this will all be over”
I’m personally pro making the choice that suits your comfort/risk tolerance.

My favorite is "I'm not taking some experimental vaccine with unknown long term effects! Instead, I'll take my chances with the novel virus with unknown long term effects!" Take a guess which one has a death count of zero

Wait if the vaccine and masks are effective why are you obsessing over what OTHER people want to do? You protect yourself and you're good right?
