No one knows my real potential. If they just gave me a few million bucks they'd see what I'm capable of.

That is the same statement she just made.

And she'll suck it up and put on a brave face in public so as to not give conservatives the satisfaction of coming to grips with her false reality being broken but she will have a huge tantrum of a meltdown in private and will say the most hateful transphobic things possible about men who cut their dicks off and stitch tits onto their chests.

I disagree, Megs, travel softball is just as fricking expensive and ridiculous as travel baseball.

I’m not exactly sure about the details of what happened in their contract negotiations, but didn’t they pretty much choose a crappy payment structure which ended up being low risk, low reward, thus their payment was lower than its potential? Had they structured it like the men did, wouldn’t they taken a higher risk for a potentially higher reward? So, the only real thing standing in the way of women reaching their potential is women, which is not surprising.

But the rest of the sports.... nobody cares. And she can't make them care.

I remember looking into this last time they bitched about it and it’s all misrepresented. The men actually bring in a lot more revenue. People only watch the women in the WC.

United States star Megan Rapinoe said Wednesday that the world is missing out on the "real potential of women's sports“

Wait until her U-23 teammates on the national team start getting their spots taken by confused guys in women’s clothing. Ill set the O/U at 5.5 years before a trans athlete represents the USA on a national stage

Yet despite all of this, we are still paid less than men -- for each trophy, each win, each tie, each time we play

YOU NEGOTIATED A frickING CONTRACT. YOU ASKED FOR LESS MONEY.

This shite has been debunked up and down, backwards and forwards, and in Federal Court, and yet we are still subjected to this brazen lie over and over by agenda-driven media.

Rapinoe is no better than the culture warrior GOP morons she's constantly feuding with.

I have an idea for the pay scale of women’s sports. We can start with the USWNT, just for shits and giggles. Have them play games against each bracket until they lose. Their last win is the % they get of the men’s contracts.

Opponent - % Pay of Men’s counterpart:

State Champion U17 Premier Team - 5%
Regional Champion U17 Premier Team - 10%
National Champion U17 Premier Team - 15%
D3 Conference Champ - 20%
D3 National Champ - 25%
D2 Conference Champ - 30%
D2 National Champ - 35%
D1 Conference Champ - 40%
D1 National Champ - 45%

I got tired of typing. They aren’t getting past a U17 regional championship team. They wouldn’t get past most the the state champs either.

They don’t draw more viewers or bring in more revenue, and the only reason they win is most of the other teams are absolute dog shite and other countries don’t give a shite about the women’s team

And the nerve of this fricking bitch to say something so ridiculous. Women's sports are subsidized at every level by the mens.

This is my biggest issue with the whole debate about this stuff. It's the fact you're not allowed to acknowledge. These schools at the NCAA level in some cases lose *millions* just by having a women's basketball team. The WNBA has lost tens of millions through its history and is kept alive entirely by the NBA. They get beat in the ratings by home shopping.

The fact that they're given the opportunity to play should be enough. A men's league that bleeds money by the million like every women's league would be folded in a year or two.

Yeah. The women get a guaranteed pay that stretches out the whole year. Comes with full benefits.

The men are basically contract mercenaries. They make more the more they advance. And no benefits. They play a game, they get a paycheck.

The women negotiated their own contract. They should be bitching themselves out.

Does this mean Biden is going to threaten to cut US funding for the World Cup 2026 again tomorrow like he promised he would last year?

Which is the most insane thing a President could do considering the BILLIONS of dollars it's supposed to bring to the host cities during the event.

There is a major battle fir our entertainment dollar, fior television viewers, and all of that drives the market and why Tiger Woods made more than Michelle Wie, Lebron makes more than Semoine Augustus and why Jacob DeGrom makes millions and Jennie Finch does not.

I suspect if the women’s World Cup was as popular as the men’s World Cup then women soccer players would see salaries rivaling the men.

Really, the problem is most women don’t even watch sports. The majority of women aren’t interested in sports, so what fanbase are they trying to attract?
