How exactly did they sling shite at every American Trump voter? Trump voters don't hold a monopoly on patriotism, nor are they the arbitrators on what is and what is not patriotic.
And just for the record, the vast majority of the team has kept their mouth shut on the issue. Rapinoe is the only one that has been protesting during the anthem, and Rapinoe and Alex Morgan are the only two that have publicly said they won't be going to the White House.
