They never seem to appreciate their special gifts and opportunity. They are attacking the folks who afford them the opportunity to live out their dreams, when they attack Trump. Trump was the choice of the citizens. He is no more flawed than Bill Clinton, George Bush, and Obama. He has done much more for the country while constantly being attacked.

They're not. The right-wing media is shoving it down your throat and you're taking the bait and spewing the same garbage on this site. There's been a thread about them nearly every day since the World Cup started, and they're all littered with utter ignorance of the sport, the team, and the issue at hand. People here still think Rapinoe is kneeling for the national anthem when US Soccer instituted a rule months ago saying she could not do that. People here think she hates this country when she's given several interviews where she has said she loves this country, she just wants it to be better.

its pretty incredible how the attitudes on this have changed
I remember having this scenario discussed during the Obama years and many of the same posters getting mad in here were very adamant about how they would never visit with Obama
even if I didn't like the POTUS, I'd meet them, just for the experience
meeting Clinton was one of the coolest experiences of my life
