Austin has absolutely blown up the last 10+ years and it’s because of transplants moving to Austin, not pflugerville.

Your only card is to use the extremes. Even will called on it, you can’t stop.

What the hell are you talking about? Pflugerville isn’t an extreme, it’s a suburb 30 minutes north of downtown that fits exactly what you said here:

quote:

The people living north of Dallas, north of Houston, in Fort Worth, and many suburbs throughout the street

Maybe look at a map of these cities and their suburbs if you’re going to argue about them.

LOL, what percentage of people are moving up in life in modern America? It's a myth perpetuated by exceptions and not rules.

I know of a good bit of people who went from lower class to middle class.

Hey buddy, if you just keep grinding it out you too can be Bill Gates!

This is an idiotic statement.

No, he’s not. Last week he wanted unemployment extended and more than $1,2000 stimulus checks. Neither have passed yet.

They demanded that we shut down the economy. This is the result.

And I promise they'll push to shut everything down again. The goalposts went from "flatten the curve" to preventing the spread.

Another subjective measure branded as an objective finding created by a group of partisans seeking a specific conclusion.

Damone is a nut.

It is well known that the American Dream does in fact exist and everyone knows capitalism has lifted millions out of poverty.

In almost every US economy related thread he posts this type of stuff attacking capitalism. I imagine he’s an angry little failure who’s living with family hoping the entire system come is crumbling down. Instead of realizing it’s his own failures that have caused his problems. Or, fricking leave the country.

The bigger they are (US) the harder they fall. Russia and Mexico are already bottom dwellers so their economic drop was minimal

Wait you mean to tell me that people aren't happy when they're working longer hours than ever before with less benefits and less vacation time for the same or less pay than ever before all while the buying power of the dollar shrinks by the day?

Other places enjoy guaranteed vacation time, UHC, guarnteed maternal leave, and often don't work 40 hours a week.

But that's just all evil socialism

They also, virtually to a country, have a lower median income than we do, especially purchasing power adjusted.

I mean he did say he can reopen the economy at will. No for inaction?

He can spout off stupid shite all he wants. That doesn't change the fact he did not shut down anything.
