She says it’s the North Korean threat but we know the truth. It’s solidarity with the Russians. Boy that will kill the Olympics.

Amid escalating tensions with North Korea, U.S. participation in the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea remains an “open question," U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told Fox News. Continue Reading Below The Games are scheduled to run Feb. 9-25 in Pyeongchang, South Korea, just 50 miles from the North Korean border. “What we will do is make sure we are taking every precaution possible to make sure that [U.S. athletes are] safe and to know everything that’s going on around them,” Haley said Wednesday on "The Story with Martha MacCallum."

Pretty dumb IMO. North Korea knows attacking the Olympics would be a pretty quick way to get a nuke dropped on Pyongyang by the US with the support of most of the world.

While we’re at it, let’s boycott the 2022 Qatar World Cup. It’s estimated that by the time that is done 3,000-7,000 slaves will have died to make it happen. Just sick, especially when we could have hosted the World Cup with only a week’s notice.

Trump and Putin are going to start their own Olympics that allow free use of steroids.

We will see 300 lb sprinters running sub 5 second 100m and then deadlift 1500 lbs 10 minutes later.

It will be amazing.

Nope

Nope. Why would we want to align ourselves with a nation that has been cited for cheating? But yea, this is what liberal progressive Democrats would have us believe.

Well we're already boycotting the 2018 Russia WC, so why not?

In all seriousness, what's going on in Qatar is horrifying. I'm surprised there hasn't been talk of boycotting from multiple countries to put pressure on FIFA to move the WC.

No Russian women to bang in the Olympic Village. Is it really even worth going?

we should be more concerned about qualifying for the WC than boycotting...

We aren't going to boycott the Olympics.

That would be the most chicken-shite move ever.

Just when I start getting over the fact that both countries that I care about didn't make it, you pull me back into my misery.

Americans have a chance to win a lot of Gold, especially in events they are usually bottom feeders in.

I was looking the other day, and 3 of top5 Bobsled teams are American for Men.

And 3 of top10 are US women.

Women didn't shock me, but men being so good did.

Have to qualify for it first before we can boycott it.

Been there, done that.
