What do you think should be done?

Will this guy just shut up already?
Posted on 6/30/20 at 11:54 am to lsu xman
yes... because there are more tests being administered and they are finally counting the numbers correctly and including asymptomatic cases... this is all a positive thing. That means the increase in cases will GREATLY decrease the fatality rate for the virus and expose how greatly exaggerated this whole thing has been....

Fauci has been more wrong than right, especially when it comes to his predictions.

Fauci is really stepping up his fear mongering game here lately. I bet CNN, ABC, MSNBC, and NBC News jizzed their pants hearing this.
It’s incredible how you attack Fauci over this. But Trump, who said this thing would disappear by April, is repeatedly glorified. Why can’t we trust the guy who happens to be more qualified than all of us combined?

Because he’s been wrong about literally everything so far

As much as it sucks we need to go back to essential businesses only. Clearly we didn't have it under control when we thought we did, and now its even worse than during the first peak.
We had a low of 20k cases on May 17th, and now we're setting record case numbers each day.
If you don't see the correlation, than I can't help you.

Part of the issue is how the media reports on Fauci. They cherry pick quotes from him and give NO context.

Who cares about cases? Where are hospitals in danger of being overrun? Don’t tell me Houston because they just reported they are only at 73% capacity and have the ability to surge over 1,000 more

THIS IS ALMOST ASSUREDLY INCORRECT. We are doing about 5 times as much testing as during the peak. The peak was way higher than now once you adjust for that.

And what about mortality and ICU rates now? Explain

What's your end game?
Ours is simple.
Isolate frail.
Let it roll through society.
Hiding until a vaccine which might never exist isn't an option.
Adults find a solution. Even if it's not perfect.
Children just scream and holler.

On May 17th, you could only get a test if you were showing symptoms and high risk. Today you can get a test just because you feel like it. Look at the number of tests performed per day, and you will see that we do not have a larger number of cases but a larger number of identified cases. Meanwhile the mortality rate of this thing drops every day, and the people testing positive now are no sicker than someone with common allergies.
If you are scared stay home with your mask and curtains drawn. My 75 year old father in law is playing golf everyday and laughing at you. You can't expect everyone to stop living life because Delores who has already outlived life expectancy is at risk. It's over; move on!

What?
Personal experience or is there a link?
