I did some dumb shite in my marine corps days but crossing the DMZ was just not one of the things i would have even considered.

Its been damn near 20 years since I've been there but when I visited, they had the biggest ROK (Republic of Korea Armed Forces) Soldiers in there. I'm 6'7" and they were damn near my height and size, and they were strict as frick. These were the conference rooms mind you, they straddle the border

Appears this is a soldier, not in uniform, who hooked up with a civilian tour group and not an orientation (military).
That explains the confusion over whether it was a civilian vs. military group and if it was a civilian vs. military person.

I get it. The whole thing was just a trick to get me to log back in to Linkedin so that they could start sending me all those emails asking for recommendations for applicants for some job opening from headhunters and requests for links from people I never met and have no interest in knowing.
