Nothing says upscale like murals of Pablo Escobar and a vault with loose cash and jewelry.
No way it draws a bad crowd with that tasteful theming.

Odd that the address wasn't listed exec though they open tomorrow.

Looks like it’s in that strip mall at the corner of Lake Forest and Bundy.

Upscale? What a joke. Bet the reporter was pissed she got this assignment.

“And don’t call here a shite hole when it’s just as much a shite hole over there!” That’s pretty funny.

Best of luck to her. There are some really good, hard working people in NO East along with some bad folks. They deserve some optimism.

Didn’t know Taco Bell was opening their first upscale location for dinner and dancing.

Melika understands the concern about crime and is facing it head on, with police and security every night, even to walk people to their cars.

Too bad the mayor doesn't care to do the same for the whole city.

If there are good hardworking people there, they should move. They are not chained to that area. And don’t give me that family bullshite. Move them all. Food? Bring your recipe book.

I’m sure excuses galore will flow out of peoples mouths though. “Well my great great grandma lived in this shite hole shack! How can I move!?” Know what I would do? Light a match. frick grammie gram gram.

I really want an overpriced meal with a police escort.

These people can’t be serious. Your city is a fricking shithole and I’m allowed to say this as a former resident.

Hope the 25 people they hired don’t plan on living off the tips from patrons.

Again. They're are some really nice neighborhoods with large houses. I was in Carmel yesterday and there were a ton of double lot houses. It felt like Ormond.

Plus the house prices are much lower. So for the price of a shotgun in mud city you can have a 3,000 sqft house

Giant painting of Pablo Escobar on the wall? Weird. That $40 Harbor Freight safe with wadded up cash is strange also.
