Upscale Hotel Recommendations for Baton Rouge

Looking for arrangements to host a business get-together for four firms from out of town (3 are from outside of Louisiana).
I haven’t been to BR in a few years, but am hoping they now have a legitimate first class hotel for affluent guests, with a decent hotel bar to accompany.
Where do the rest of you oil men stay when you come back to the Capital City.
So far, recommendations have been the Downtown Hilton and the Watermark.
Thoughts?

That's pretty much the exhaustive list of "Upscale Hotels" in Baton Rouge.

I wouldn’t bring 3 out of state guests to BR for their Louisiana experience. Stick to Nola, Lafayette or even the north shore. Hell even Lake Charles would be a good experience. At once of the casino resorts.
Don’t do that to those poor people. They’ll never want to come back.

Will they be needing hookers and blow as well? The Marriott on Corporate is nice, newly renovated, very close to the strip club on Bennington.
L'auberge resort casino could be an option as well.

This post reminds me of when the Miss USA Pageant 2015 was in Baton Rouge and they took the contestants to Albertson's to sack groceries.

I stayed at the Hilton downtown earlier this year and the Mariott a month or two ago and I liked the Mariott better.
