Downtown Hilton and the Watermark.

This would be my pick but I prefer the Watermark bar to the Hilton.

I think I’m leaning renaissance. You have Perkins Rowe for drinks dinner

Watermark comes in second but it’s downtown.

Perkins Rowe would impress me more vs downtown

Hotter woman, La lagniappe and bin 77

Plus the bar in ren. Is nice

Also, the place where stinkys fish camp is located would be an option. It’s been redone and seems very accommodating for biz meetings. You have tons of options for food. U got Sullivan’s, Palermo’s, stabs, etc etc

Strip club a 5 min Uber ride away as well as bulldog

Screw DT Baton Rouge

I stayed at the Hilton downtown earlier this year and the Mariott a month or two ago and I liked the Mariott better.

I held a continuing education course at the Marriott and the food made me, my guests, and my speaker sick. Never again!

Baton Rouge is in trouble if the downtown Hilton is considered its most upscale hotel.

The rooms are more "boutique" (tiny), than upscale. The hotel bar is slightly above average. The balcony deck is poorly placed with half of them having what should be a great view obscured by the pool's bathroom.

I wanted to name a few of the other places around the Marriott but didn’t feel like looking up the spelling for some of the restaurants.

I actually think it might be the best fit. I went to stinkys about 8 months ago and liked the Reno. I know Mardi Gras balls are held there now

So many options near there for cheap Uber rides.

Op, def don’t rule this out.

Agreed...I think that is a Mariott now. I liked it a lot and Stinky's was nice place to dine and drink.

no bar at Lod Cook. Hilton downtown has best breakfast. Get a river view room on concierge floor. Watermark is pretty good as well. Indigo's bar is open earlier than Hilton for bloodys. No parking fee at Marriott, and it is closer to good restaurants.

Comfort Suites in Port Allen. That’s where our out-of-towners stay
