And they still struggle to hire people. I bet the drug testing is a huge issue.

It's a huge issue in transportation/shipping. No one can pass drug tests. They'd rather smoke weed and make 45k in some job that goes nowhere over 150k with benefits and you have to resort to drinking beer over your dildo weed pen

Generally I agree with you, but I rarely ever see a UPS delivery person not busting their arse to get their route done.

This thread is hilarious to me. Yea UPS people are paid a lot (and using their leverage like good capitalists to get more of the pie). They are paid a lot because they are top notch at getting shite from point A to point B.

Ever used some small time shipping service? They fricking suck arse.

UPS is far from perfect but no one else in the business comes close to them in performance and cost. USPS is unreliable and FexEx is a joke nearly every time I've used them.

You say this like they set shipping costs based on their expenses rather than what will bring them the most profit. We know from their recent earnings reports that isn't true. If higher shipping costs will not drop demand, they would have already raised them.

The Teamsters President, I imagine made out like a bandit compared to the union workers increased wages. He came across on the news as an arrogant entitled choad.

I bet he still doesn't make a fraction of what CEO's in this country do.

You have to be a weak-minded union member to use that red herring as a response.

Why? Because he leads the workforce of the biggest logistics company in this country?
