For those of us who have our mothers pack us a sandwich for road trips, thus never been to a Bucees, what makes them special?
Is it anything better than one of the Florida Turnpike rest stations?

I recently stopped at the Buc-ee's in Baytown. They had a sign they were hiring. $12+ an hour full time, 2 weeks vacation, sick leave, 401k. I don't know of other gas stations that do that, although I honestly haven't looked. The place was jam packed but there was no line for check out. They actually staff all the registers.

It's from Texas. That is the entire explanation.

lulz. Bama got a Buc-ee’s before Texas’ neighboring state to the East Louisiana did. God Damn Louisiana, I love you, but you are an giant fricking mess.

And to those talking shite about Buc-ee’s

I’d rather piss in a bottle than stop at most gas stations in Louisiana

Good for you, hope it works out. Baton Rouge got a fat frick Golden Corral and a steak and shake place. I chuckle every time I pass the millerville exit.

On the two-year anniversary, you can thank the flood for that trade.

I usually take my shits on bama’s campus sidewalks, but I may have to make an exception for this one.
That's funny, when the LSU football team comes to Tuscaloosa they usually take a shite on the field.

In fairness to BR that location didn’t really make sense for Bucee’s based on their other locations that are further on the outskirts of the area.

Uh no.

It's a massive truck stop that doesn't service trucks. It's clean and fast.

We don’t want that Texas gas station, and we really didn’t wanna get in a bidding war for it.

We went with a local gas station from down da baya’ that talks like us.

Mobile has much more in common with South Louisiana than it does with north or central Alabama.

You might be half assed joking...but the only place I’ll stop to piss on the way to New Orleans to see the in laws is the Chick-fil-A in Lafayette.

How fricking long will it take the state of Louisiana to finish their rest stop at the Texas line? frick..I think the Texas rest stop on the other side of the Sabine has flooded twice and is still operational.
