I had a six pack of Shiner Bock in the fridge for over a year. Would it be worth anything?

I’ve got about 5 bottom of Kentucky bourbon from the .70’s unopened with the paper tax seal still intact. Found them at my grandparents when my grandma passed

I bet that Rye slaps. More of a wheated bourbon guy myself but I wouldn't mind a whif of that rye either.

sent it to Unicorn Auctions, where it ends tonight. Best thing, they only charge $5 + 5%. There is a 15% buyer’s fee.

You were happy with them? Can you set a reserve?

After Katrina we sang “drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was gone”

No it actually hasn’t been opened Old bottles like this lose volume past the cork over the decades. The original strip is still in place if you look closely.

Didn’t you find that piece of art that’s worth quite a bit but maybe you just haven’t sold it?

So here's a question - it says "Pre-Prohibition." Now, when did the term Prohibition come into effect?

It was distilled pre-prohibition, but bottled after. Thus, the label was made after prohibition when the word was obviously widely used.

It will be worth significantly more than $800 by then.

With that much missing it must not have a tight seal which means oxygen exposure and it will taste awful. I had some high end tequila that did this and had to throw them out. Not sure who is bidding on this but they might be fools.

Yes, bought the painting for $125, estimate at $7500-$10,00, but you know estimation, worth the paper they are written on. I have received some offers for over $1000.

You are correct. I had it backwards.
