The estimate of $1400-$1600 is their estimate. I was thinking $800-$1000, comparing it to the other two that I saw sell.

It’s called the devils cut.

I thought the Devil's Cut was the amount of liquor trapped in the barrel, and the Angel's Share was the amount lost to evaporation?

If you haven't seen it, I recommend watching the Bourbon bandit on the Heist series on Netflix. I had no idea people were paying that much for mediocre bourbon.

Moonshiners did a special on Pappygate a couple weeks ago. I think they did a good job on it. They're doing a series on crime involving liquor.

No more bids, sold for $810, so probably top 10 of my buys of all times.

Pair of AR5 speakers, paid $300, sold for $1600, and a chess set I paid $350, sold for $1600.
My #1 percentage find was a Nolan Ryan 1983 Donruss, graded 10. I paid 25¢, sold for $200 (800:1 payout).

Now, I’ve bought collections for a few hundred dollars, and sold for 1000’s, but in 20+ years, I’ve only had two single items break the $1000 mark (in profit or final bid)

I just registered for the site.

I just missed out in bidding on a Yamazaki 18 year bottle at $550. They normally go for >$1,000 in stores here in Georgia.

This may replace the FB betting sites I used in the past.

I’ve got about 5 bottom of Kentucky bourbon from the .70’s unopened with the paper tax seal still intact. Found them at my grandparents when my grandma passed
