Here’s my other bottle that I sent them. It’s from around 1984. I think I got it for free. I’ve had it for a couple years.

I have a Macallan Edition 3, I’ve owned for about five years or so. I may send it in one day. They bring around $300.

I hope it ships well, plan on chugging it out of a set of Depression-era Federal uranium glassware I have.

I’m guessing you watch my auctions. That was a nice little surprise last night from a $10 purchase.

Always browse your threads, you'd have a field day with my militaria collection alone.

Where did this rye reside from before 1918 until it was bottled in 1964?

I need to study up on military stuff. I’ve bought a few pieces over the years, including a WW1 full doughboy uniform, a few WW2 E-tools (wooden handles, spike on back), and a few other things.

That’s what I wonder. I’m guessing in metal or glass vats, so it wouldn’t age.

I've got an autographed photo of Joe Louis along with matching documents tying it to his time at Ft. Riley for providence. Also a 2nd ID guidon that should be from around WW1 during Meuse-Argonne. Set of the biography by General Pershing of his experiences in WW1, signed by Pershing himself. Neat old things really.

Seems a little hard to believe a cup would evaporate but I’ll take your word for it.

It’s called the devils cut.

Alcohol naturally evaporates over time. A bottle of alcohol that is several decades old would surely evaporate.

For all the naysayers, let’s check back on this particular item five years from now.

It will be worth significantly more than $800 by then.
