If I was on the run and knowing that my mug was plastered all over the airwaves, I definitely wouldn't say anything that might tip someone off.

I've never believed that he was swimming from island to island in Tampa.
Not sure what Dog's plan is for Florida. Brian is on the run, he's not hiding.
Quick update on dog: Yesterday, he posted a video of himself walking through a Florida swamp. He turned over evidence (from his campsite discovery aka monster can?) to authorities for DNA testing.
He's also offered $10k of his own money to the reward for information that leads to the arrest of Brian, which brings the total to $180k.
He has a hotline that people can call for tips at 833-TELL-DOG

The hiker/engineer said that the guy he talked to seemed "messed up". I'm not sure what he means by that. Like he's been living in the woods or was he drunk/high?
I could see an "under the influence" Brian talking to a stranger, but you think he'd be smarter than that.
