So I just read more about the sighting in Appalachian trail. The eye-witness was turning around on a road near the NC/TN border at 12:35AM, when another driver in a white pick up truck flashed his lights & waved him down. They spoke to each other from their vehicles side by side. He mentioned that the man was "messed up" & "disheveled" and said that "him & his girlfriend" got in a fight, but he was trying to get to California to see her.
Sketchy that this happened after midnight & this guy mentioned getting in a fight with his girlfriend.
Think this eye witness is making stuff up?
Why is dog not in NC hunting down a white pickup truck?

Yep. The guy, Dennis Davis, said he was turning around & about to find a parking lot to sleep in his vehicle for the night, but he decided to not stay there after encountering the other man in the truck.

Sounded sketchy to me also when I read the article, especially when he mentions a domestic dispute between BF and GF. If I was on the run and knowing that my mug was plastered all over the airwaves, I definitely wouldn't say anything that might tip someone off. I suppose stranger things has happened.

i feel that this davis guy did have this experience, but he may just be mistaken about the identity; however, if BL wants to make it appear that he's got mental health issues (or if he actually does), it might be genuine.
