I live in the area where your mom lives…If I can be of help, let me know. I’ll spread his photo at work tomorrow so people will be on the lookout for him.

Been through a similar event although our lasted only about 6 hours. Such a helpless feeling. I feel your pain.

Does the phone have the gps locater on? If you can get to the location of the woman I would check there. If he is an addict it’s possible he is just with the woman. She said she would be willing to ship the phone in exchange for what she paid for it, it’s possible it’s a way to scam your mom out of drug money. You can’t ever tell with addicts, if he owes money to the wrong person or is broke they’ll do crazy stuff.
Praying for the best but the first place id look is where ever she is. Even if he isn’t there, someone showing up in person is more likely to get better answers from her than over the phone

If the cops are circulating the plate number, the odds will increase that a license plate reader will pick up his car.

Huge update.
My mother was able to obtain his bank information.
He has two charges to hotels in New Orleans. The first was to a Marriott and the second to the Intercontinental.
We've contacted the Intercontinental and they confirmed he checked in with the dog but they won't say when. They called his room but no one answered. They said they would conduct a wellness check but we haven't heard anything yet.
